Artifact: Student Teaching at Baker Elementary, Observation at Poff Elementary and Observation at Propel Charter School
 

Justification: I have rated myself as exceeds given my excellent evaluations and reviews from student teaching and observing in various school districts. Through my time at Baker Elementary for 16 weeks, I conducted myself in a way that showed integrity, fairness and an ethical manner. I equally showed this behavior at the two other elementary schools as well.

Artifact: Meeting Minutes

Justification: Through my Google Hangouts this summer with my technology team for 7 weeks as well as the meeting minutes show how I can rate myself as exceeds. I feel that my actions towards the stakeholders in the project as well as the communication gave me the ability act professionally as well as communicate via text messaging and meeting minutes on Blackboard.

Artifact:  Blackboard 9 Training and MyLearningPlan

 

Justification:  I have rated myself as exceeds due to my ability to continue to learn by getting trained in BlackBoard. Through my career in the program, I have continued to search out new techniques for teaching with technology. Through the Blackboard training, I have developed an understanding of how to conduct a college Blackboard class. In addition to BlackBoard training, I feel that I have sought out a multitude of professional development opportunities listed in my MyLearningPlan Portfolio. Through attending more than 100 hours, I feel that I have engaged in new learning opportunities.

Justification: I have rated myself as exceeds due to my evaluations by principals in multiple school districts and states. Through my four year career as a teacher in Pittsburgh and Beckley, I have shown myself in an appropriate manner to all people including professionals, teachers, parents and students.

Artifact: Board Meeting

Justification: Through evaluating the board meeting, I feel that I can rate myself as exceeds in my ability to understand the current policies and practices in Monongalia County. By going to multiple board meetings, I found the ability to see how practices hinged from meeting to meeting.
